Howdy! And welcome!
My name is Angela. It means Messenger of God. And on this journey of life, I strive to live up to it.
The Hubs – his name is Damon. I apologize in advance for any crazy comments he may leave on my posts. :) He is my best friend. He was brave enough to take me on; a single mother with two crazy kids, without even the smallest of stumbles. He is my tower of strength, my listening ear, and I absolutely adore every single thing about him!!
There they are. My three.
AJ – my first born. He has taught me to be brave. He inspires me to work harder.
Alycia – my girl. She has taught me to ‘come to light’. She inspires me to be more out-going.
Jude – my baby. He has taught me more about being compassionate. He inspires me to give.
I can’t even begin to tell you the number of emotions that rumble through me when I look at them. They test me and stretch me and push me into situations I have no desire to be in. And I’m a better person because of it. <3
P.S. – you will see a lot of pictures of Jude in his pjs. Why get dressed when our mission is to stay home and craft?? :)
Always have been. And when I say all things, it’s true. I never know what is going to capture my attention next.. and I love that! I think its fun to explore and learn new things! However, home decor is what has got my heart the most. Not that I’m a designer. I’m not. In fact, I read blogs to help me out in that department. But.. I do enjoy hunting down furniture and accessories, and waiting for inspiration to hit!
A few (more than a few, actually) years ago.. I sanded down a mirror I bought at a yard sale, and felt like I was removing layers of my melancholy self. Even though I have enjoyed making things forever, I learned then that my thoughts were much more clear and melodious when my mind was engrossed in a project. I loved being able to create as I mused on. And I still process thoughts best that way.
As I write, and share my life and creative ideas, I hope to inspire you. To try. To believe in yourself. To think outside the box. To be a better person. To enjoy life. Cause my journey is about kicking fear in the face and living a happy life, doing what I love to do.
Join me as I muse and create and ramble along.
